Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to know
If you are a fan of the Regency like I am, you have heard of the poet, Lord Byron. He rose to almost a cult figure for his poetry, liaisons, and debts, which eventually forced him to leave the England. His affair with Lady Caroline Lamb was infamous and it was she who described him as "mad, bad, and dangerous to know."

Despite all that, his name has been given to a particular type of romance hero - the dangerously handsome, yet brooding male with a hint of melancholy. What heroine wouldn't want to try her hand at taming such a man?

This Day in History: George Gordon Byron, the future 6th Baron Byron, was born on this day in what year?
